About SUPER-KIKI SHOP

SUPER-KIKI SHOP Profile

Since the nuclear accident in 2011, he has been interested in the violence of an unbalanced society, and has been crafting his own expressions through the project super-KIKI, a designer. He mainly upcycles and produces wearable items such as clothing, fabric patches, and stickers using original graphics, and shares his methods through sales and workshops. He explores ways to resist and raise his voice in a sustained, exhausted society, and to ensure that his existence is not drowned out.

super-KIKI (Designer)
Since 2011, she has participated in street demonstrations and expressed her questions and messages about society through DIY crafts such as banners made from stuffed animals, neon sign-style stencil placards, and clothing. She also organizes feminist gamer meetings and silkscreen workshops to print political messages. She posts selfies on Instagram as a way to care for herself and explore sexual expression. Having experienced burnout, she is currently creating wearable political items every day, exploring how to raise her voice sustainably in a way that doesn't put too much strain on herself.

CONCEPT

The “political clothing” SUPER-KIKI project began in 2011 with the creation of T-shirts using a home silkscreen printer. The aim was to share the issue of nuclear power more widely and to encourage more people to think about it.

Expressing and creating things. It is my joy in life, but at the same time, if I do not recognize where my desires lead, up and down, left and right, I will either be incorporated into the system or marginalized. Even today, countless webs of power pour down from above, stick to our hair, and control our lungs, hands, feet, and mouths through our trachea with every long breath. I want to know where it comes from and what it is made of.

I stare at this clingy mud that has become a part of my body, and realize that my resistance to freedom is undoubtedly my will. To avoid being made nonexistent. To let the world know that your presence there is resistance and will, even if you cannot speak.

Play, cross, disturb, wear that philosophy on your body and play, cross and disturb this world!
